Resin Deposition Modeling (RDM)

Estamos empezando las primeras pruebas de un método innovador de impresión 3D que hemos denominado Resin Deposition Modeling (RDM). Personalmente espero que también sirva para imprimir circuitos 3D con resinas conductivas.

El método es un híbrido entre la estereolitografía láser y el FDM. Consiste en depositar resina UV mediante un dosificador y una aguja y curar inmediatamente la resina con un diodo láser de 100mw/405nm. Para ello hemos desarrollado un cabezal para nuestra máquina que incorpora una torreta giratoria que implementa un nuevo eje - el eje R. Este eje guía el láser tangencialmente a la aguja, de tal manera que el rayo siempre va siguiendo su camino, curando la resina.
